Setting up payments

Learn how you can to get paid online with our payment gateway integrations.

Though you can offer "Cash on delivery" as your primary method of receiving payments, we highly recommend connecting to a payment gateway so as to allow your customers to pay however they want and to streamline your online operations.

We are currently integrated with following payment gateways:

  • Stripe

  • Paypal

1. Using Stripe as your payment gateway

Stripe allows you to easily accept payments via credit and debit cards online. If you do not have a Stripe account, signing up is easy and will take less than 15 minutes. Before you start, get ready the following information which you will need during the Stripe account setup process:

  1. A Local Business Registration Number

  2. A Local Bank Account Number registered to your Business

To connect Stripe as your payment gateway:

  1. Navigate to the "Payment page"

  2. Enable the toggle for Stripe. The Connect Stripe button will then appear

  3. Click on "Connect Stripe"

  4. This will bring you to the Stripe signup page (Alternatively, if you already have a stripe account, simply login to your stripe account) and jump to step 6.

  5. Follow the instructions on screen to create your Stripe account

  6. Once your Stripe account is created, you will be redirected back to the Oddle Dashboard where you will need to check the boxes for those that apply:

    • Allow Stripe for Pickup Orders

    • Allow Stripe for Delivery Orders

  7. Log in to your Stripe account to verify it by uploading a scanned copy of the front and back of your identification card (if Stripe requests for it upon login)

2. Using PayPal as your payment gateway

PayPal allows you to receive payment instantly by customers via debit or credit cards online. To use PayPal as a payment gateway in Oddle, you will first need a PayPal merchant account. Create your PayPal merchant account here.

To connect PayPal as your payment gateway:

  1. Navigate to the "Payment page"

  2. Enable the toggle for Paypal. The "Link to Paypal" will then appear

  3. Click on "Link to PayPal"

  4. Login in to your PayPal account

  5. Your PayPal account should now be linked
